Smithers Guesthouse Cancelation & Damage Policies

Please cancel 2 days prior to your reservation date.
Guests will be charged for one night if they fail to cancel 48 hours prior to their arrival.

For Christmas & Spring Holidays, as well as Group Bookings (more than 4 people):
Please cancel 2 weeks prior to the reservation date. Guests will be charged 50 % of their total reservation amount if they fail to cancel within that time frame, prior to their arrival.

Later cancellations: Every effort will be made to rebook your unit(s). However, if we can't resell your unit(s) we have to charge the amounts as stated above.

Early check-out: Guests checking out before the last day of their reservation will be charged and can only be credited or refunded subject to Smithers Guesthouse rebooking the room(s).

Damaged or missing items:
Guest are responsible for all damaged or missing items from the room, upon check out. Any resulting charge(s) will be added to your account/credit card.

Smoking Policies:
Please be advised the Smithers Guesthouse is a non-smoking facility.  A $350 deep cleaning charge will be added to your account/credit card as a result of smoking in the room. Smoking on our covered deck permitted, as long as the door and window to the inside is closed.
